Portsmouth are eyeing Celtic striker Scott McDonald.

The Australia international has been linked with a move away from Parkhead ahead of the January market.

The Herald says there has been speculation that his days at Celtic Park may be numbered with Portsmouth and Wigan linked with him.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has already confirmed his admiration for McDonald this season, while Pompey would have to see their transfer embargo lifted before moving for the ex-Southampton trainee.
