Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of signing Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi for £28.5million.
Spanish football expert Guillem Ballague claims a deal, which will also see the Premier League club send Eliaquim Mangala to Valencia on loan, is all but done.
Tomorrow all confirmed: Otamendi to City for €40m and Mangala on loan. Real Madrid would have paid €50m buy out clause if Ramos had gone

Negotiations have been anything but straightforward however, as the La Liga outfit still owe City a significant portion of £24m they paid for striker Alvaro Negredo earlier this summer.
It is understood Valenica have proposed selling Otamendi to City for less than their original £35million asking price in order to settle the outstanding debt.
