Ortega leans towards Man City stay

Manchester City ace Stefan Ortega has opened up about his future plans.

The club's no.2 goalkeeper got to start their Champions League quarter final first leg against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

While Ortega conceded thrice in a 3-3 draw, he was not to blame for any of the strikes.

"Of course I was really happy that I was given the trust here. I think I did a good job despite conceding three goals," Ortega reflected post-match.

"I try to do my job when I get the chance to play and we'll see what the end result is. I definitely try to offer myself every day and now I'm being rewarded for it. The focus is just to try and use every game I get."

"This is not such a difficult topic. I said this last week, me and my family feel really comfortable in Manchester," he added.

"It's one of the largest administrations in the world, that's why. There aren't that many arguments against it.

"I'm very relaxed because I feel super comfortable here. I've been able to gain more experience this year and I think I'm at a good age. That's why there is absolutely a lot to be said for staying here."
