Newcastle United striker Dylan Stephenson is heading to Hamilton Academical on loan until the end of the season.

Magpies boss Eddie Howe is impressed with Stephenson, seeing him up close at the club's mid-season training camp in Saudi Arabia.

Per Chronicle Live, Newcastle are hoping that Stephenson can get game time at Hamilton in Scotland.

He was watching his new team play an Accies' Scottish Cup fourth round tie at home to Ross County.

He is set to join up with his new teammates in training this week and should be available for their upcoming games.

Newcastle star Lucas De Bolle is also on loan at Hamilton.
