Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is keen to find a new striker signing.

After their friendly win over Sheffield Wednesday, he confessed a striker was still high on his wish-list.

Pardew said: "I think looking at our squad we're still shy of a striker.

"And that would be ideal if we could get one that suited the club and we'll take that forward."
