Vincenzo Morabito admits Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is "stuck".

Morabito is acting as an intermediary for Giroud this month and has been attempting to find him a club on the continent.

However, the Italian has revealed Dries Mertens and Napoli are holding up their plans.

He told Sky Italia: "Giroud? At this moment we are stuck, Chelsea must first find a substitute.

"And this will not be Mertens: the Blues consider him definitively gone, because the player's intention is to stay with Napoli."
