Mexico's football federation (FMF) are in contact with former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.

The FMF is seeking a replacement for Gerardo Martino.

ESPN reports that Bielsa features high on Mexico's shortlist of candidates.

Indeed, he tops the association's wish list. Bielsa has not taken on a new post since being sacked by Leeds United at the end of February 2022.

Bielsa has previously been national team coach of Argentina and Chile.
