Manchester United are eyeing Leicester City fullback Ricardo Pereira.

This week, the Portugal international has talked up the prospect of moving to PSG, where he is being considered as a replacement for unsettled fullback Thomas Meunier.

However, Le 10 Sport says PSG won't get a clear run at Pereira.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also keen, where he needs to find a replacement for captain Ashley Young, who will leave when his contract expires in June.

Any move in January is unlikely, but a summer switch cannot be ruled out.

Just this week, Pereira stated: "A future transfer to PSG? You never know what may happen in the future. It's a big club. In addition, I played in France. I know the club and the championship.

"It is the biggest club in France. It plays for the Champions League and the title in all competitions. But for the moment, there is nothing. I have to keep performing before I think about that."
