Man Utd make three academy appointments

Manchester United have made three appointments within their academy as part of a youth shakeup.

The Red Devils are keen to overhaul their academy and bring it up to par with the likes of Manchester City.

Per the Manchester Evening News, Ben Clarke has joined from Cardiff City to become pre-academy lead scout.

Callum Tongue has come in from Ipswich Town to become United's head of local recruitment.

United have also added Finn O'Leary to the academy staff, who will work as assistant lead phase scout for the local area.

He comes in from Blackburn Rovers, where he was their recruitment operations manager.
