Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has assured fans - and Roberto Mancini - they will spend in the remaining weeks of the summer market. Mancini has lost his cool with football administration officer Brian Marwood who has yet to splash the cash - with identified targets Daniel Agger (Liverpool) and Daniele De Rossi (AS Roma) still not signed, sealed and delivered.
But Sheikh Mansour told the Daily Star Sunday: "What is important is to preserve the achievement of winning the title and maintaining the good standards of last season.
"We will support the team with a player or players.
"But this does not detract from the efficiency and capacity of the current squad of players with whom the manager is completely satisfied."
