New Liverpool U21 coach Michael Beale has enjoyed victory on his debut.
An injury-time goal from Ryan McLaughlin ensured Beale's first match in charge of Liverpool U21s ended in a 1-0 win over Sunderland.
With 91 minutes on the clock, McLaughlin displayed no signs of fatigue, bursting into the area from the left and drilling a low effort into the bottom corner to secure a dramatic victory.
