Kolo Toure says it is vitally important that Liverpool fight hard in their remaining games this season.

The Reds were knocked out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stage by Aston Villa on Sunday which leaves them with just the Premier League to play for.

Liverpool sit fifth on the table, seven points behind Manchester City with six matches remaining, and defender Toure is targeting positive results in each of the matches left on the schedule in order to end the season in style.

"There's an obligation here to fight to the very end," he told Press Association Sport.

"We have to fight in every single game now. Of course there will be disappointment over the next couple of days but we're going to have to get ready."
