Leicester City are eager to hold onto Christian Fuchs.

The title winner is off contract in June and been linked with a move to MLS.

However, the Leicester Mercury says the Foxes want Fuchs to sign a new one-year deal.

Fuchs could extend his stay at City by another year to provide cover at left-back for Ben Chilwell.

The 33-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and was expected to move to America to be reunited with his family in Manhattan.
