Leicester City signing Christian Fuchs is thrilled to achieve his ambition of playing in the Premier League.

Fuchs joined Leicester from Schalke this summer on a free transfer and his arrival has been seen as a huge coup for the Foxes.

Now Fuchs has gone on to speak about his experience in England so far and has stated that he is looking forward to playing in the physical environment of the Premier League.

"It was a goal for me (to play in the Premier League), and now it has come true," said Fuchs. "So of course I'm happy here.

"We played against good teams at Schalke in the Champions League, against Chelsea and Arsenal, and I liked that, I liked that football a lot. I think that can only help me and also to help the team. It's pretty physical, British football, that's the way I got to know it, and I like it a lot."
