Leicester, Everton scout Dundee Utd starlet Lewis Neilson

Dundee United starlet Lewis Neilson is attracting major Premier League interest.

The Courier says Leicester City and Premier League rivals Everton, Southampton and Leeds United scouted Neislon during United's game against Celtic on Saturday.

Neilson played 60 minutes of that match, starting the 1-0 defeat to Neil Lennon's side at right-back.

Albian Ajeti scored the winner seven minutes from time after Neilson had been substituted for Kieran Freeman on the hour mark.

It is being said that the scouts sent by City and the other top flight sides had been left 'hugely impressed' by the 17 year-old's display.

Neilson, who only turned 17 in May, was making his fourth appearance for Micky Mellon's side.
