Lazio coach Inzaghi has warning for Alberto after victory over Crotone

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi explained sticking with Luis Alberto for victory over Crotone.

There were reports Luis Alberto would be dropped today as punishment for his criticism of the new Lazio plane.

Inzaghi said, “I spoke to Luis Alberto, he knows he was wrong, he apologised publicly and it was my duty to get him on the pitch in the best possible condition, as he is an enormous talent who mustn't waste that with stupid things off the field."

On goalscorers Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa, the coach added: “Ciro was excellent, he's a leader and scored a very important goal to win a very difficult game against a team that in my view is playing good games," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.

“I think Immobile is doing great things, his statistics are excellent. I am also happy for Correa, as he had scored in the Champions League and now got his goal in Serie A. He arrived on Friday after two flights and with jetlag, I asked him for this huge sacrifice and he repaid me today."
