New Burnley boss Vincent Kompany says he takes the job fully equipped for the Championship.
The Manchester City legend returns to England after two years with Anderlecht.
"I have learned from all the coaches I have had. From some you learn what not to do, but when we talk about the really good coaches like Pep (Guardiola), (Roberto) Mancini, (Manuel) Pellegrini and Roberto Martinez, they are all very different," he told the Mirror.
"It is possible to bring a lot from them, but the most important thing I have brought with me, and I think that is where my desire to become a coach comes from, is to simply try to make players better. It's about believing that if you make your players better, you will win more matches.
"What I want to clarify is that my goal is completely clear, regardless of whether it will not happen the first day, to play a football that appeals to the fans."
