Juventus and Inter Milan are entering the race to sign Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.

The Red Devils loanee is spending the season at Roma, where he has excelled in the Italian Serie A.

Smalling is one of the best defenders in that league this season.

Corriere della Sera says Roma are trying hard to complete a deal for Smalling.

But it is believed that Juventus and Inter are both interested in pursuing deals as well.

Smalling turns 30 soon, but is surplus to requirements at United since their capture of Harry Maguire.
