Inter Milan have announced captain Samir Handanovic has suffered a hairline fracture to his wrist.

The goalkeeper missed Sunday night's 2-0 win away to Udinese and seemed to have part of his left hand immobilised under a wool glove.

“Samir Handanovic has undergone an X-ray examination following an injury to his left hand suffered in training," read a statement this morning.

“Results showed a hairline fracture to his little finger.

"His condition will be reassessed on a daily basis."
