The agent of Odion Ighalo says the Nigerian striker is 'very close' to agreeing an extension with Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed on Tuesday that United were in talks with Shanghai Shenhua to extend Ighalo's loan, which is due to expire on Monday.
And Ighalo's representative, Ladi Salami, was positive about the outcome.
"The Super Eagle feels very good in Manchester with whom he is very close to a salary agreement," Salami told Foot Mercato.
"Negotiations with the Chinese are ongoing and are going well."
