FC Groningen midfielder Ludovit Reis is on his way to Barcelona.

De Telegraaf says Reis will become a Barcelona player in the summer after the Catalan giants reached an agreement with Groningen over an €8m deal.

The 18-year-old central midfielder will likely take part in Ernesto Valverde's pre-season tour, having featured in 27 Eredivisie games so far this season.

Reis has been tracked by Barcelona's scouts since September, and after agreeing to a five-year deal, it is thought that he will either start his life in Catalonia by playing for Barcelona B or by going out on loan.
