FC Groningen left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson is being watched by Manchester City.

Gudmundsson, 21, has been with Groningen since 2019 and has played 30 competitive matches for the club.

This season he has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and become a first-choice at left-back.

He has made five assists in 19 matches in the Eredivisie outfit and now the former Halmstad BK talent is being linked with Manchester City.

Italian media sources say Napoli and Ajax are also keen.

"It's fun knowing this interest, but right now I only focus on Groningen. I will consider the rest after the season," Gudmundsson told Fotbollskanalen.
