Groningen chief Hans Nijland has denied reports of a deal with Barcelona over the sale of Ludovit Reis.

The teenage midfielder is expected to sign for Barca, though Nijland insists nothing is yet agreed.

"There is certainly no agreement yet, but we are seriously negotiating," he said.

"I don't go into amounts during negotiations, but I sometimes hear twelve to fourteen million. Well, that's not right.

"But this amount is also unrealistic, we are not going to give up our players."
