Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are among the teams interested in signing Jonjo Shelvey.

The 31-year-old former Newcastle midfielder has been playing with Turkish side Caykur Rizespor since joining on a free transfer in the summer.

Per Telegraph, Shelvey has impressed enough in the Super Lig that top sides are chasing him.

The midfielder has pushed Rizespor up to fifth place in the table, which is far higher than they were predicted to finish.

Meanwhile, Gala and Fener are locked in a title race, with both teams on 63 points after 24 games.

Whether a move happens midseason or in the summer is not yet clear, as the Turkish transfer window does still have two days to run.
