Real Madrid hero Luis Figo is convinced by the quality of AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

The new Italy international has emerged as one of the great stories of this European - and has a fan in Figo.

Indeed, the Portuguese great believes Real should consider moving for the youngster.

Figo told TMW: "He's a very great player, with a lot of qualities and he has to go on like that to have a great career.

"I'm not very close to Real Madrid's transfer plans, but it's normal for the biggest teams in Europe to be interested in such a player."
