Ferran Jutgla has confirmed he's leaving Barcelona.

His transfer to Club Brugge is imminent and if there was any hope he could yet stay at Camp Nou, the player himself put any doubts to bed in a social media post on Thursday.

"I want to infinitely thank the Barcelona family for the chance they have given me to grow as a footballer," said Jutgla, who joined from Espanyol last summer.

He added: "You have allowed me to fulfill a dream that has been a huge step forward in my career."

Jutgla explained that despite having the chance to remain at the club for another season, he took the decision to move to another project, but added that he hopes to return one day.

"Football has many twists and turns and of course the door will always be open to return to wear such an important shirt as Barça's in two or three years," the striker concluded.
