Former Manchester United and Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is hanging up his boots.

At 35, Fellaini is leaving his Chinese club Shandong Taishan.

The former Belgium international had been rumoured to be seeking to extend his playing time back in Europe.

But Voetbal24 says Fellaini is happy to have Shandong as the final club of his career.

Shandong coach stated: “He came as a superstar and leaves us as a legend."
