Former Leeds and Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa has spoken to Italian football students at the country's Coverciano centre.

Bielsa has offered a lecture to coaching and sporting director students.

He said, “Italy is an unequivocal reference point for world football and all this is clear just by looking at the images present in this hall.

“When I accepted the invitation to come and speak to you, I thought long and hard about what topic to address in order to leave you with something.

“Today we will discuss the approach to be passed on to the players and what the tactical systems mean, and I have the opportunity to do this in a school like the Italian one, that has a great culture on the positionings of the players on the field."
