Former Everton midfielder James Rodriguez suffered a dismal debut with Al Rayyan.

His new side were torn apart in a 3-0 defeat against Al Duhail, who extended their unbeaten start to the domestic campaign.

And despite being welcomed by a host of fans donning Colombia shirts and waving the national flag to welcome him, James failed to impress on his maiden appearance.

Everton sold James to Al Rayyan earlier this month.
