Denayer eyeing trophies and Champions League with Man City

Manchester City defender Jason Denayer wants to make winning trophies a habit at the Etihad Stadium.

City managed to tie down one of their most promising prospects in Denayer to a five-year contract recently and upon putting pen to paper on the deal, the 20-year old has stated his ambition to achieve plenty of success at the club.

Denayer told CityTV: "I'm very happy to sign the new deal with City because it's what I wanted from the start, so I'm proud of myself to sign a new deal and now I just need to keep going.

"I like the club and I like to stay here and I hope to do the five years and more. I hope to play a lot of games, win trophies and go forward to the Champions League."
