Club Brugge boss Clement warns Leeds over Noa Lang attempt

Club Brugge have fired a warning at Leeds United over their push for Noa Lang.

Leeds are tracking Lang after he scored 17 goals and made seven assists for Brugge to help them win the Belgian title last season while on loan from Ajax.

Brugge have triggered an option in the loan agreement to sign him permanently from Ajax for £5.2million and coach Philippe Clement insists they do not have to cash in on him for a quick profit.

Clement does not want to lose Lang and insists he will only leave for “really large amounts".

He said: “Today, we are in a different situation. We can now refuse certain offers. Our strong players will only leave for really large amounts."

Leeds are now considering their next move as they want to sign another attacker to take some of the goalscoring burden off Patrick Bamford's shoulders, reports the Mirror.
