Leicester City veteran Christian Fuchs says their young players need to go up a level next season.

The long-serving Foxes defender has talked up his young teammates James Maddison and Ben Chilwell, but has warned they may find it difficult to sustain the level of performance shown this season.

"People will be interested to see how our young payers sustain their performance," he told the Box-to-Box Podcast.

"James Maddison is a great promise for the future as well as Ben Chilwell. There are young players who are really good. We are proud to have those players in our squad.

"The crucial part is how they deliver in the following season. When I was young, all I wanted was to play my best but to sustain these performances year after year - it was a tough one. But those guys have great quality."
