Celtic's Australian tour confirmed

Tribal Sports Management today confirmed a three-stop tour of Australia by former European Champions and 42-time Scottish Champions Glasgow Celtic Football Club.

It will be the Scottish football giants third visit to Australia after previous tours in 1977 and 2009.

Tribal Sports Management Managing Director Lou Sticca said he was delighted to be bringing one of the world's most famous and best supported clubs to Sydney (vs Central Coast Mariners at ANZ Stadium July 2), Perth (vs Perth Glory at NIB Stadium on July 9) and Melbourne (vs Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park on July 13).

"This tour is a victory for the average football supporter. We've worked hard to keep ticket prices down to ensure bumper crowds around the country," Sticca said.

"To promote the best possible atmosphere each local club will retain their own 'home end' while a 'Jungle Area' will be reserved for active Celtic Football Club supporters in the away end.

"After seeing firsthand what impact the Celtic Football Club visit had on football fans in Brisbane in 2009 we are delighted to provide this opportunity for even more fans around the country to experience the fantastic atmosphere that Celtic fans are famous for all over the world."
