Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker believes former club Tottenham should achieve big things this season.
Spurs won 1-0 at the CCS on Saturday.
Caulker said: "They have spent a lot of money and you can expect great things from them. With the players and squad they have, they should be achieving things [this season].
"Without Bale [in the game], they didn't have that [individual] threat but other players have come in and looked good and strong. [Now] they have a lot of good players with great movement - they have Eriksen and [Roberto] Soldado and it means you have to focus. Then they bring on a player who cost £27million plus [Lamela]. They will cause problems this year."
