Bus driving for Aberdeen contract

Dave Bus is hopeful of winning a contract at Aberdeen.

The 29-year-old is on trial at Pittodrie this week following a recommendation by Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood's Dutch-based son Scott.

The versatile defender is out of contract with De Graafschap in the summer but has been on the fringes at the Eredivisie club this season and could sign immediately.

He told RedTV: "It would be a dream to play for Aberdeen and in Scotland - they invented football. It's a big step for me.

"Aberdeen are going to play a lot of big games this year.

"They are playing a lot of games and they have some injuries and the manager is looking for someone that can play in more positions.

"I have played in Holland at the highest level and I feel strong and fit."
