The Dane's current contract runs to June.

And Jansson is hoping to persuade his teammate to extend his stay with the Bees.

He joked: "It's one of my projects.

"Eating early breakfasts with Christian every morning to convince him to stay. He has not made a decision yet, so let's see what happens."
