Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite is happy knowing Denmark teammate Andreas Christensen is joining him at the Nou Camp.

The Chelsea defender will move to Barca when his contract expires at the end of next month.

"It's great if it happens. He should look forward to that," said Braithwaite.

"He is a skilled player and he will fit in fantastically well. He's a class player, so it's going to be really, really good for the club."

Of his own future, Braithwaite added: "I have two years left on my contract. I relate to that. That is why I will of course start after the holiday in Barcelona.

"I do not see a loan agreement as an alternative. I have a family to think about. And my children will not change schools for a year."
