Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke believes the rise of English youngsters to the national team shows there is a pathway for talented kids.
In recent international games, the likes of Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi have made their mark on the senior England team.
The 21-year-old sees it as proof that you can make the step up from England under-21 to the senior side - if you are good enough, and will be hoping his move to Bournemouth can help him make that progression as well.
"Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi show that there is a pathway and that's what the boys are aiming for," Solanke said to reporters.
"We're always trying to impress, especially Gareth [Southgate - England manager] when we're playing, and hopefully more of the boys can go up as well."
