Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane drew positives after being eliminated from the Champions League by Manchester City.
City drew 1-1 at Bayern Munich on Wednesday night after Erling Haaland's opener was canceled out by Joshua Kimmich's penalty for Bayern after a late handball judgment against Manuel Akanji. City reach the final four 4-1 on aggregate.
Sane said, "It was a good, strong game from us. I have to score, I definitely have to score...
"Man City got a lot of pressure but it is tough because we lose the first game away 3-0, which shouldn't have happened, today we could have done a lot.
"It is tough for me because I had a good chance. We had them under control, won lots of ball in midfield, if I had scored I would like to have known where this game went.
"I know the team quite well, I know how strong they are at home, but if you concede three away in the first leg it's tough. It's annoying how it went, especially how we played today - I am proud about that, we have to keep up the spirit and focus on the league now."
On former club City, he added: "Everyone knows I like them and like how they play, so congrats to them."
