Barcelona have clarified the injury suffered by Andreas Christensen last night.

During the Champions League defeat at Inter Milan, the Dane suffered an ankle sprain.

He has since undergone more tests this morning, after returning from Milan. Yesterday the club already reported that he had strained the external ligaments of his left ankle.

Barca have not given a time period for when Christensen is expected to return.
