Atletico Mineiro president Alexandre Kalil says they're trying to land Inter Milan striker Diego Forlan.

Atletico are hoping to convince the Uruguay international about a move to Brazil.

"We have little hope, but we'll try. We owe it to our fans. We are trying to make a great effort. But now the chances are pretty slim," said Kalil.
