Atalanta striker German Denis has revealed he's turned down Juventus.

The Argie was wanted by Juve after Alvaro Morata broke down in preseason.

"I had to choose whether to be Denis at Atalanta or just one of the group, with the prospect of playing very little, at Juventus," he told L'Eco di Bergamo newspaper.

"I am 33 years old and I chose to play football. It wasn't only my decision, as Atalanta had no intention of letting me go either."
