Atalanta coach Gasperini: Zapata cared a lot about this game

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was upset with his players after their 3-0 defeat at Torino on Monday.

Former La Dea star Duvan Zapata struck twice for Toro on the night.

Gasperini said: "We didn't work much, to say what didn't work you need a long list. The behavior of some players worked, the dedication to play until the end with the Atalanta spirit. Unfortunately we didn't see it with all the players.

"Torino is always determined. It seemed like an easy match to me, the absurd penalty we took ended the match. I expected more from us.

"We know Zapata well, he seemed to care a lot about this game. Choices have been made, at the moment Scamacca and Touré are out. Duvan was an important player for us."
