Aston Villa are continuing their pursuit of Hajduk Spilt goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic.
Villa's hopes of landing the 25-year-old shot-stopper appeared to have been scuppered by problems relating to the Croatian's inability to secure a work permit, despite the Premier League club submitting an appeal to the Football Association.
However, the Daily Mail is reporting Villa manager Remi Garde is not willing to give up on landing Kalinic just yet and is set to launch a second appeal with the FA in the hope of finalising the £4.9million signing.
