Arsenal have rejected an offer from Barcelona for midfielder Cesc Fabregas. El Mundo Deportivo says Arsenal turned a bid of £30 million plus Thiago Alcantara and Bojan Krkic in exchange for Cesc. The Gunners made it clear they will only consider a straight cash deal for their captain.
Arsenal want £40 million for Cesc - which Barca deems too rich.
The only chance for Barca to see Arsenal drop their demands is if Cesc takes an active role in demanding the Gunners lower his asking price.
