Arsenal have not wavered in their pursuit of West Ham captain Declan Rice.

Rice is said to favour a move to Arsenal, though doubts have been raised over the presence of Jorginho after his arrival from Chelsea in January.

Football.london says the Gunners still hold a keen interest in signing the England international -and the signing of Jorginho in the January window will not impact their plans.

Rice's deal now has just over a year to run.

The midfielder has stated: "I see my friends here, who are playing Champions League and for big trophies. You only get one career and at the end you want to look back at what you've won and the biggest games you've played in. I really want to do that."
