Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has cooled talk of signing former Gunners defender Sol Campbell. The former England international has been training with the Gunners in an attempt to keep himself in shape after his disastrous and short spell at Notts County.
"Speculation goes very well at the moment, I must say," the Frenchman grinned when asked about the defender.
"Don't worry. Should we sign somebody then I promise you will be the first to know!
"We have a level of interest for every good player."
Asked whether he thought Campbell was still a Premier League player.
"Why not?" he said. "He trains very hard."
