AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is on the brink of signing for Corinthians.

Pato is just one meeting away from leaving Italian giants Milan for Corinthians, his agent has confirmed.

"I think that everything will be sorted out in a couple of days at the maximum," representative Gilmar Veloz told the Brazilian media.

"Milan and Corinthians are a step away from an agreement for Pato's transfer. There is just one more step, a meeting between the Brazilian club and Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani.

"Corinthians have agreed to everything which Milan have asked for," he continued.

"The transfer will be on a permanent basis seeing as nobody will loan you a player who is 23-years-old. Pato received other offers too, but he decided that he wanted to return to Brazil."
