AC Milan legend Rino Gattuso has applied for the Peterborough United job.

Posh are seeking a new manager after parting ways with Darren Ferguson.

The Mirror says his lack of experience is likely to go against him but the 37-year-old AC Milan legend has had brief managerial spells in Switzerland, Italy and Greece over the past two years and recently applied for a job at Scotland's Hamilton Academical.

Brentford boss Mark Warburton is also in the frame.
