AC Milan great Nelson Dida admits he's a fan of Mike Maignan.

Maignan has been outstanding for Milan in his first season in Italy, with the former Lille goalkeeper superb in the derby win against Inter Milan.

Dida, now a keeper coach at Milan, said: "I found a guy who has a huge desire to grow.

"He chose Milan for this, because Milan is a great team and he is aware and by working and committing himself he can do better and better. He is a very focused person, he always wants to learn, since he arrived he has this desire to continue to grow.

"He is always attentive to everything and in my opinion he will prove even more to be a great goalkeeper."
